We do understand your concern that you are having issues in receiving the verification code when you reset the password for your Microsoft account. Let’s us check on this together and sort this out. Rest assured, we will do anything in our capability to assist you with your concern.
There are a number of possible explanations for why verification codes don't always arrive. For us to be able to isolate this issue, we would like to ask a few questions;
- Does your phone block texts from unknown numbers? If so, change your phone settings then choose I don't have a code. Another verification code will be sent to you.
- Is there other option for you to receive the verification code aside from your phone number? You may try using other option to receive the code like an alternate email address.
- Is your phone number or email address entered correctly? To keep your information safe when you're signing in, we only show you the last two digits of your phone number or the first two characters of your email address. To see if your security info is correct you may follow this steps: Sign in to your Security basics****page with your Microsoft account > Select Update info > Choose a method that you know works, or choose I don't have any of these to replace your security info.
