For years, my Contacts' birthdays just showed up on my Calendar automatically.

Now they don't.

How do I turn this back on ?

There is not an 800#, sorry. You are using Outlook on the web, correct? It might be easier to do some of this in Outlook desktop - especially deleting the contacts after exporting them.

In Outlook on the web, open the contacts folder and on the upper right is a Manage button. click it and select Export. The choose All.

To avoid duplicates, you should delete the contacts - but outlook on the web only deleted 50 at a time. If you have Outlook desktop software, you could delete all at once.

If only some of the contacts have birthdays and you don't want to spend a lot of time deleting 50 at a time, open the exported file in Excel and delete the rows that don't have a birthdate.

When you are ready to import, go back to manage and choose Image.

Microsoft's articles on import and exporting in outlook on the web:

I'm Diane, an Office Apps & Services MVP specializing in Outlook.

Did you turn the birthday calendar off at some point? If so, you need to export the contacts and import them so the birthday calendar can pick up the birthdates. Or open each contact and edit the birthdate and save.

The option may have been disabled, try re-enabling it. Please follow this steps:

    1. In Outlook.com, select Settings at the top of the page, then View all Outlook settings
    2. Select Calendar in the left pane.
    3. In View, scroll down to Birthday calendar, select the check box next to Turn on the birthday calendar, then select Save.

To be sure, do you use Outlook desktop or Outlook web? In the forum category it says that it is Outlook for pc but I would like to be sure.

    Virtual greetings.
