Disable Calendar Overlay in Outlook for Mac

For my role, I manage my boss's calendar and have access to a couple of others (in addition to my own). For a while, Outlook was displaying my and my boss' calendars side-by-side, with no issues. Then, seemingly out of nowhere, it started overlaying them, which is not conducive to my needs. I've tried removing his calendar and adding it back, toggling between new and 'old' Outlook, and checking within the outlook client on Chrome. Nothing has worked. I do not have any options to change the view or the properties of any of the calendars. Any advice?

Dear P.Sullivan_08,

May I please confirm that whether you added more than three calendars?

According to my test, you can view up to 3 calendars in Side-by-Side view at a time. If you have more than 3 calendars selected, you will not be able to view it in side-by-side view.  You must delete calendars until you have 3 or fewer selected to view the calendars in Side-by-Side view again.

If you want to look for the information of calendar, you can also try following steps to check the result.

Open the outlook for Mac>click calendar button>select the calendar you want to view>find the view option at the top and click on it>choose list (Then you can view the information in the calendar as a list.)

Maybe you can submit feedback: open the outlook>find the Help button in the top>choose give feedback

Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions about this. I’ll be happy to help.

Best regards,

Kerry

    Dear P.Sullivan_08,

According to your question, maybe you can refer to following suggestion:

The first picture is about old outlook for Mac, you can set the overlay in following steps:

Open the old outlook>choose calendar button>select the organize button on the top>choose overlay

The other picture is about new outlook for Mac, you can find “overlay” button easily, but it’s useless, so if you still want to overlay your calendar, perhaps you will need to continue to use the old version of outlook.

Please look forward to our new products to improve more features. Thanks for your patient and understanding!

    Best regards,

    Kerry

    Hi Kerry,

Thank you for the reply. To confirm, I only have two calendars selected (mine and my boss'). I've tried deselecting everything and then adding back just the two I need, but they're still overlayed. The list view isn't really what I'm looking for either. Ideally, I'd like the calendars to be side-by-side with the names of the calendars in tabs at the top. Is there anything else I can try? Thank you!
