Hi - thank you for replying! Answers:
- No just an email, not a phone.
- I've been asked a series of questions. Name, Birthdate. If I have used the account to purchase Microsoft products (xbox and skype) are the options. I have been asked to list the emails of people who I have sent and received emails from, or the subject line of emails. (Don't have any way to answer those questions). I have been asked if I used a CC to buy anything. I clicked yes and provided what they asked for. This is because I definitely bought some things inside minecraft while on the switch. I've been asked to give my last three passwords. Did my best! I was never asked anything like your examples. I get
- No. I did initially. It was on the ipad because the switch gives you a URL and asks for a code and you have to go to a device, go to the URL and if you are signed into your Microsoft account on that device you get a code which you plug into the switch. (I am an idiot for not buying her an xbox I guess b/c this seems very round about to me). So the first time it happened I was on the ipad, but since then I have been trying form my PC. Because I can type easier on a PC.
Thank you again for trying to help me. I just keep getting this:

Please submit a new account verification formAt this point, your best option is to submit a new form with as much accurate information as you can gather. The more information you can include in the form, the better the chance you’ll have of regaining access to your account. We’ve included a few tips below to help you fill out the form as completely and accurately as possible.
Helpful tips for filling out another form:
- Answer as many questions as you can.
- Use the information you provided when you **created the account,**or last updated it.
- Submit the form from a computer you frequently use.
- You will be asked to list recently used email addresses and the subject lines from recent emails. Ask for help from family members, friends, or business contacts to confirm their email addresses and tell you the subject lines of the last three emails you sent them.
- Make sure to use the correct domain for your account, such as hotmail.com, live.com, or outlook.com. Keep in mind that your email address may be country specific. For example, if you created your account in Sweden, your domain would be “hotmail.co.se” rather than “hotmail.com”.

Thanks for the additional information and my apologies for the late reply.
So if you do get the option to recover via your alternate email address registered in the Microsoft account, you'll actually be shown a partial of the email address. Are you sure that it is still your email address based on the partial that you see?
If it's still your email address, you need go through the recovery form again but this time make sure you fill it out while in the iPad. Also without giving too much away the questions are actually very different from the examples I had given you before. I'm sorry if I did not point that out in my previous reply.
Sincerely,
Glenn Rue
