I'm having this issue in the Mac Outlook desktop client. It happens all the time. I'm typing and suddenly my email is gone and I find it in the draft folder. How do I stop this? It's maddening. It never happens in my Windows Outlook desktop client at home.
Outlook email disappearing during typing and appearing in drafts or achive folders
While I'm typing the email vanishes and then I usually find it in drafts or occasionally archive. This happens mid word. It's different words so can't be keystroke. Any ideas on how to stop this happening?

2022-01-24T20:47:20+00:00 I'm having the exact same issue with Outlook 365 (not the internet) The advice from Gema_Master made no sense, as we are not using a browser to access our emails. It is part of the Microsoft 365 Suite.
When I am in the middle of typing an email, the row becomes white/blank and if I click around, the whole area becomes white/blank. The tool bar becomes garbled. I have to re-start my entire laptop to clear it out. It happens at least 3 times a day. The email I was working on can then be found in my drafts folder. I have tried looking this up, but there are no fixes. I'm going to attempt to chat with someone online.

2022-05-23T15:10:47+00:00 I am having the same issue but I think that I have narrowed it down to possible happening when a new email arrives mid-typing in the one I am creating.
Also on office 365 outlook for mac.

2022-01-24T22:22:37+00:00 If you get anywhere please post back here. Firefox support have blamed Outlook and Outlook support are blaming Firefox. It's so frustrating. I daren't put the to email address in until last now just in case it decides to send it half written.

Interesting theory Nathan. You might be right. I solved my issue (for now at least) by setting my defaults so that new messages and replies pop out of the app and open in a window. Once separated from the app, I haven't had this problem so far. I wish I could just type in the window though as it is convenient. The other issue I've had is having my emails delete letters as I type. I can literally be mid-word and the letter I just typed disappears and the word gets misspelled by a missing letter in the middle. These could both be related to your idea. I am not sure if the pop-out has solved this issue as well or not yet.
