Hi All,

I'm trying to create a custom keyboard shortcut that will open a saved Outlook template.

Is this possible?

The template has been created via:

New Items > More Items > Choose Form... > User Templates In File System.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Brad

    Hi Brad,

    Good day!

    Thank you for your reply.

I can fully understand your requirement, I have further checked, but currently there is no any further relevant option available to achieve your specific concern about to one keyboard shortcut.

As a workaround, currently you may perform above mentioned steps to find User Templates In File System option*.*

Additionally, in order of your requirement, if you can submit your valuable suggestion directly to our product developer team via this Microsoft Feedback portal to further development of some feature option on Outlook, our product developer team can update product accordingly in future.

I would really appreciate your cooperation. Let us know if you have any other concern.

    Sincerely,

    Dear Brad,

    Good day!

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Regarding your scenario, based on my finding, we can use ALT+H+I to get New Items option and then we can use relevant arrow keys to find this User Templates In File System path.

Below are the steps for this path: New Items > More Items > Choose Form... > User Templates In File System

    • ALT+H+I for New Items,
    • After that, ALT+I for More Items,
    • Then, ALT+O for Choose Form,
    • ALT + down arrow key to find User Templates In File System

    Hi Darpan,

Thank you for your time and help with this.

Is there any way to narrow this down to one keyboard shortcut?

    Regards,

    Brad
