Users in our company are unable to delete public folders despite having correct "Owner" permissions assigned.

Folders are able to be moved, created, etc., only cannot delete.

With got the same issue with two tenants.

Even if you create a new public folder without mail-enabled (as admin) you can't delete it afterwards with outlook.

    Deleting in EAC works tough.

PS: Just confirmed that it is an Outlook Bug

Using another Client like "emClient" lets you delete the public folders.

Have exactly the same issue. The Public folders are not mail-enabled, and the user which is trying to delete the folder has Owner permissions.

With another user confirming the problem exists when folders are already mail-disabled, what is the suggested solution now?

    Gabriel,

We have made no modifications to the system which should require programming adjustments. I do not want to trade one set of problems for another. Please provide a resolution that does not require changes. This is obviously a Microsoft issue, as it's happening to many people.

This has never been an issue previously. Why would it suddenly need to be mail-disabled? It should operate the same as it always has. I've been able to navigate to the folder within Outlook and press delete to remove the folder. Why would this suddenly change?

    Thanks!
