Exporting Contact LISTS

I hope this forum can help me with this query.

I have contact lists set up in Outlook and a co-worker is writing a script to automatically send e-mails to those lists.

When I export the contacts, I see all my contacts randomly shown but not under their respective lists!

Is it possible to export contacts and have the e-mail list they belong in also?

That would save me time as I cannot go through of address and group them together for him.

Thanks!

    Hi Palcouk

I have created contact lists in Outlook, see below screen grab. I just want to be able to export the list names & the contacts in those lists so I can easily see the names by list.

    Dear Raydots,

    Thanks for choosing Microsoft community!

I have read your question carefully and done some research, please kindly refer to following suggestions:

To export the contact list of an account in Outlook, you can refer to the steps below: In Outlook on a PC, choose File>Choose Open & Export > Import/Export>Choose Export to a file>Choose Comma Separated Values>Select the Contacts folder that's under your account. Choose Next>Choose Browse, name your file, and choose OK>Confirm where your new contacts file will be saved on your computer, and choose Next>Choose Finish to start exporting your contacts immediately. Outlook doesn't display any message when the export process is complete but the Import and Export Progress box goes away.

Fore details, please refer to this article: Export contacts from Outlook (microsoft.com)

If that's not the answer you're looking for, I'm afraid your idea isn't feasible, and it's easy to export your contact list with email address directly, so I think your suggestion is very meaningful, and perhaps if it is convenient for you, please submit your suggestion to The Feedback of Outlook. I believe that Microsoft's official relevant technology development department will continue to strive to improve itself after seeing your suggestions. Your valuable advice will help more and more users in the future, making work more efficient and time-saving.

About Feedback, please try to click File>choose Feedback>select suggest a Feature>input your suggestions

Hope this help you, if there is any deviation in my understanding, please forgive me and provide me with more details. I am more than happy to continue to help you. I wish you a smooth new year and all the best!

    Best regards,

    Kerry
