Print is too large in Print Preview and Printer although document looks ok in PDF Format. EPSON 2650

Asking for a friend who is trying to print a 10 page PDF document.

Document downloads ok and type and page breaks are fine.

When we do the print option and ask to print some pages the print preview shows very large type and some of the text is missing. It also prints the same as the preview.

I have checked settings, we have A4 set up as default paper on the epson s/w and the printer.

Any ideas would be great thanks.

    @Mavis,

    I have the same issue under different circumstances. I have the latest O365 updates on a Windows 11 system. The problem actually started for me in Windows 10 when I replaced my monitors with Dual 28" 4K monitors. I have the scale set at 125% rather than the recommended 150% (don't know if this contributes to the issue), but when I print ANY email from Outlook, the preview has what would normally be a 3/4 page text email is shown to print over 3 pages. I have tried to change the print font to a smaller font, but this has no impact on the printouts. Email with graphics or pictures show the images to sometimes take up 1/2 of the page, or more.

    Hello KARENSCOTT6,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community and enjoy the time you spent sharing detailed information. What I've learned is that when printing a PDF document, the document shows up too large in print preview and in the printer. **** If my understanding is wrong, please correct me in the answer. I am pleased to offer you help in this matter.

    We fully understand the inconvenience caused by the problem and that the current situation can be frustrating.

    We need to know more information to better help you solve the problem.

    What software did you use to open the PDF file for printing?

    Have you tried creating a new PDF file and then printing the file to see if it works?

    In view of your current situation, it may be because your PDF page is too large to fit in A4, so the problem occurs. We recommend that you select options such as Shrink To Printable Area when printing.

    We have to go through a series of steps to find the real cause of the problem. If the above steps do not resolve your issue, please let me know and I will continue to help you with the problem.

    Sincere greetings
