Authenticator and Facebook's two factors authentification

I delete my Facebook account from the Authentificator app because the connexion code was never the right one, and now I’m unable to connect to my Facebook account on my computer because I need a two factors authentication. I contact Facebook and they told me to contact Microsoft because it looks like my account is linked to Authenticator. But, I can add my Facebook account because I’m supposed to scan a QR code wished I don’t have because I need a connexion code… and this goes around and around! Can someone knows how to fix that?

It doesn't work like that. The authenticator app is nothing more than a code generator. The steps should have been to turn off the two-factor at the service provider as first step. Your only hope now is to use the service provider's methods of account recovery.

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, I can’t change the Facebook two-factor options on my phone (I still have access to my account on my phone, but not on my computer, but since I’m a Community Manager for work, it’s much more convenient to work on my computer) because this option is available only on desktop. The Facebook Employee told me to contact Microsoft Authenticator to retrieve my account. But, we’re on the same page, I think it’s more a Facebook issue that the other way around.

Yea, it sounds like they don't understand it. If you still have facbook account access via phone then you can turn off two factor here in the facebook app.
