Today I was asked to make a new microsoft account so I did and saved the password but when I tried to log in again my bowser didnt autocomplete so I had to do it manually, while writing the password I just kept getting it wrong to the point it locked me out for attempting to log in too many times this was totally my mistake and after looking carefully at my saved passwords I discovered I was writing it wrong, am I locked out forever or can I attempt to write my password again after 24 hours?

Hi g.g._134, hope you're doing well. I’m Ian, and I’m happy to help you today.

You can try after 24 hours to see if this is a temporary locked.

If your account was been blocked/locked you can follow the steps in the article below to unlock it.

The only way we can know about that is if you don't receive the lock account error message when you try to login again. Currently we would not know the "timer" nor the status of your account on our end (as user). This is based on the experienced that I have when I got this issue before.
