Outlook Android Search Not Working

Outlook search was not working on my android Samsung Note 9, got a new S-21 Ultra and set up Outlook and again the Search function is not working. Just doesn't return any results at all. The search function looks amazing in the promo video, but on two different phones now I get no results at all. It barely works for email. You can receive emails but sending doesn't always work. Very sketchy app.

    Same search issue for me as well using a Google 6, email search does not find anything, except if an email is in the main inbox only, if an email is in a sub folder, it finds nothing.

    Everything else basically works ok, search function is no good at all though.

    Also, after latest Outlook update, now the move to folder function is not good as well.

    I used to be able to select an unread email or a group of emails, without going into it, and drag the emails to another subfolder, and it wold remain unread in the subfolder.

    Now after the recent update, that no longer works.

    If I try to drag it now, it stays where it originally was.

    What is required now is I need to go into each email separately, select move to folder, then go to find that folder and select the emails again, and then mark as unread, if I so desire them to remain that way.

    Prior to recent update, I could move a bunch of emails in one go without going into any of them.

    It has made a previously quick easy task more fiddly and annoying.

    I have Outlook version 4.2207.4

    It's version 4.2143.5. The screen just displays "No Results" message. I'm using an IMAP connection to my mail server.

    Is your Outlook mobile app up to date? What version is it currently on?

    Hi Steve. Thank you for your reply. IMAP accounts do not support Contacts Sync so that could explain the lack of results in Search. Does the same issue happen when you try to search for emails instead?
