Hi Mr/Ms,
We have several PCs which originally have Windows 10 Home, we cannot reimage it to Windows 10 Pro although we used flash drive with Windows 10 Pro iso dowloaded from VLSC.
It probably because of the OEM - BIOS - UEFI TIED LICENSES on the motherboard.
Is it possible to remove the UEFI tied licenses?
Thank you.
BR,
Xenia

Hi ,
It’s not possible to remove the preinstalled license. However, there's no need to do this. If it's forcing the Home Version when you reinstall Windows, just insert the Pro Generic Version Key VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T in Settings > Update & Security > Activation > Change Product Key.
This will change the version to Pro and it will contact the MS servers and find the Pro Digital License in MS Activation servers to activate.
The key is not your license, so the key used is not a problem as long as you have a legitimate license.
I hope this answers your question.
