Saving Emails and Attachments as one file

This is for Outlook email users.

I know there are add-ons that can be purchased that will save emails and attachments as one file with a click of a button - this isn’t an option right now.

I was wondering if there are any short cuts, tricks or tips that would help me do this without having to save the email and attachments separately and then combine them in adobe as one file. I do so many files that it becomes cumbersome. Any help would be appreciative!

    Dear SandyS1CD,

    Good day!

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I have double checked from my side and by using

Double click to open the email in a new window > File > Save as, I am able to save the email with the attachments on my desktop and move it to any folder.

I would like to do further tests based on your needs assuming that the end result is different from mine.

Please provide, a description of how you want the emails and attachment to be saved and where.

Please share your outlook version and account type.

Please understand that these verifications will help find a way to proceed for your situation.

We look forward to your reply for further assistance. Thanks for your cooperation.

    Sincerely.
