Hi, this is embarrassing but there is a discipline out there that in addition to data, captures something about processes and perhaps workflows in the warehouse as well.
I looked at it years ago, thought it had some merit, would be expensive and in some installations might possibly be overkill.
Does anybody remember what it is called? I want to do a re read.

thx anyway seeyaxi, i'll pass on reading the articles. i think as soon as someone who has seen and worked on that approach to building warehouses sees the question, they will post the answer. I'll try to find the name myself also when time permits. even the design diagrams for such design have special figures as i recall for processes and work flows. Its a very disciplined and detailed approach to designing warehouses, at least as i recall.
