Using Outlook for iOS for personal email and calendar management
You need to change the global settings for sounds. Go into Settings->Notifications->Outlook and turn on Sounds.

I'm able to disable mail notifications and enable calendar notifications, but when I tap where it says "sound Disabled>" I'm unable to change anything. I checked my phone settings and I do not have sound inherently turned off for notifications from this app in the iPhone settings. Please help. I get a lot of non-urgent email throughout the day but have a lot of appointments I cannot miss.

I am using the MS built app. I asked them from within the App as well even though typing on the phone is significantly more difficult. I hope to hear back from them because the App that MS made does not allow you to toggle the controls.
