Office 365 - Outlook Calendar Reports?

I use "categories" in outlook office 365 to differentiate my meeting types. I would like a report that tells me how many hours I have spent in each category. Is there a report or process that can determine that for me?

the excel method and unfortunately, this would not pull over "reoccurring" meetings, which made the tool far too inaccurate. Had I not had a significant amount of reoccurring meetings, the excel version would have been easy and functional.

For recurring events, you need to export to a CSV, not copy and paste - this breaks all recurring events into individual items. You can use a filter to limit the export to a date period or filter in Excel to hide older or future events.

    Hello Shawna

There are 3rd party report apps or you can use VBA or manually to get the information.

To do it manually - create a list view with the fields you need - subject, start, end, duration, category etc - select all, copy and paste into Excel and add up the durations by category.

VBA would basically do the same but automate it more.

Thank-you for the additional details. I did not try a 3rd vendor as my organization does not normally let me just download outside apps to my work computer. I did attempt the excel method and unfortunately, this would not pull over "reoccurring" meetings, which made the tool far too inaccurate. Had I not had a significant amount of reoccurring meetings, the excel version would have been easy and functional.
