Outlook calendar ONLY syncing with Google if I refresh EVERY SINGLE TIME

Hello,

I am having to Reset ICS Links for my Outlook calendar and copy them via URL to a new Google calendar every single time I make a change to the Outlook calendar. Why aren't changes being pushed through? Why do I have to reset it every single time? Thank you.

    Hello George,

It actually never updates, even after 24hrs. After the initial syncing, nothing every syncs. Funny enough, I've asked for help with Google and they blame Outlook and it seems Outlook blames Google. Round and round we go. I wish there would be more proactive collaboration, given how many people use both programs. I will try your suggestions.

    Joey

Also - I see your suggestion has the note "**Note:**Changes you make in Outlook aren’t sent to your Google Calendar. To update your Google calendar, open Google Calendar from a browser." That creates even more work as I'll constantly be having to update my calendar in two places.

    Dear Joey,

I did a further research on this topic and this option is only available for customers who pay for the Google suit (G-suit) synchronization. Excuse me for making such a mistake. Since updating the calendar manually isa tedious process for you, the possible solution is to use a third-party app or service that can sync your calendars more frequently and reliably.

    Best regards,

    George A.

George, I believe you sent the wrong link. I do not see "Option 2: Use a calendar app that syncs with Google Calendar”

    Dear Joey,

Google Calendar does not update imported .ics files very frequently, and it may take up to 24 hours for changes to appear. This is a limitation of Google Calendar and not Outlook. One possible workaround is to use Outlook’s feature to see your Google Calendar in Outlook (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/see-...), which may allow you to view both calendars more easily. Alternatively, you can try using a third-party app or service that can sync Outlook and Google calendars more reliably (like Zapier or SyncGene to automate the syncing process).

    Best Regards,

    George A.
