Is it possible to set automatic replies when I set an appointment on the calendar in the "show us: Out of office" category?

I always thought this process was automated, but I realized that it doesn't work in my case.

    Dear Francesco POTENTE,

    Good day!

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist.

I tested from my side and consulted with the relevant team, and when I set an appointment on the calendar in the "show us: Out of office" category, the Automatic replies was not set automatically.

From the test, creating an out-of-office calendar appointment and configuring automatic replies are two separate features. Creating an Out of Office calendar appointment reminds people with access to your calendar to know which days you won't be present, ensures that no one is trying to drag you into a meeting or item while you're away, and is a way to visualize your future availability.

Automatic replies can also let others know your current status, but it focuses on letting everyone who contacts you automatically receive your customized out-of-office message, which allows you to take a peaceful vacation and will communicate the reply message to the contact in a timely manner to avoid a long period of unanswered.

There is currently no automatic synchronization, some customers may still attend emergency meetings on their phones or computer devices while on vacation, and manually setting up automatic replies respects the customer's practical considerations in some specific situations.

When you set up automatic replies when you're on vacation, you'll choose the date range you want them to send automatically. This way, it doesn't matter if you forget to turn them off when you get back to work because they will turn off automatically on the date you choose. The Outlook web app https://outlook.office.com/ has three exclusive calendar-related features. 1. These calendar features enable you to block the visibility of your calendar for a period of time, which means it will show you unavailable in the calendar. 2. In addition to masking your visibility, you can customize your calendar to automatically decline any new invitations for the time period you choose. 3. The last option lets you reject and remove events. It's an emergency feature, like taking a few days off, but with things you should do on the calendar. By checking this option, all activities you participate in will be rejected or canceled. This will save you time accessing each event individually and updating them manually. The desktop app version doesn't offer as many calendar privacy options as the web version.

However, we appreciate your need to bring this to our attention, for the feature you proposed, I raise a feedback on Community (microsoft.com), which is Microsoft's webpage dedicated to collecting customer feedback on products. I will invite my team to vote on it, and also invite you to vote together, so that it will appear at the top of the page, and users who want the same will join the vote and comment when they see it, which makes it easier to quickly submit feedback to the product group. Your suggestions help us to provide better service to you and other users. We highly value your feedback on our products.

Hopefully this will be included in future product updates.

If there is anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.

Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
    wish you all the best.
