    This fixed it for me: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/error-this-web-browser-does-not-support-javascript-or-scripts-are-being-blocked-when-adding-a-google-workspace-account-b7cbc25e-5b2d-459a-97b8-c8b6adc7b2d4

    Basically, add the below regkey and restart Outlook.

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION]

    "Outlook.exe"=dword:00002af9

    I am getting this to.. but it is only when the User has not set up their Multi-factor yet.. so I make them go to Https://aka.ms and sign in there to set up the Multi-factor.. then after that is done, I launch Office 2016 and it will not have the error.

    This fix is not appropriate because it breaks Outlook Today. Can someone from Microsoft please chime in on this? If Outlook 2016 is still under support from Microsoft, then this should be fixed.
