Contact export in progress”

Every now and then I see “contact export in progress” on the screen popping up while I’m in outlook on my Mac. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

    This has happened to me on both iPhone and iPad. But only recently... last two weeks maybe? I am running the latest OS on both devices. I also have corporate work software on these devices linked to Microsoft Exchange/Outlook and Teams and the usual gamut. No idea version of corp software but they keep us pretty current with auto-pushed updates. Then these devices also have links to my personal mail (hotmail and gmail) . So what's up with the contact sync? I haven't changed any settings nor do I want to.

    Did you get resolution to this?

    I just had this happen on my iPad for the first time. I’ve been running Outlook on this for at least 3 years now. I’d like to know what that is all about?
