Bulk-delete emails from search results (Outlook iOS)

There are multiple posts regarding how to bulk-delete emails in Outlook for iOS (e.g. here and here), i.e. press and hold any email in any folder to display a selection box next to all emails in the current folder, then either click "select all" or tick individual emails, then delete.

However, this does not work within search results. For example, when searching for emails from a specific domain, sender, or subject, the only way to delete any or all of them is one by one. To make things worse, you can't even swipe left or right to delete the emails, you have to open each one individually to delete them.

Am I missing something, or does this beg for a future fix?

Hi DivBy0! This is Raech. I'm a fellow Outlook.com user and I'm here to help.

This is unfortunately by design. There is simply no option to bulk delete emails in the Search results page. The swipe feature also does not work in this area.
