Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Thank-you for the tip.
I could only find one "Date" in the sort options, not allowing me to select a "Created Date". :(

I'm loosing track of my draft responses to collogues in my Inbox.
I will start a response then need to leave it to seek further information. Other emails will come in and push it down the Inbox.
At the end of the day / beginning of the day I like to do a review of outstanding responses. I used to be able to check the Drafts tab to see if I had any partial replies that need completing, then knock them off.
With Outlook 365 Windows Version 2210 (Build 15726.20202) {and many previous versions} draft responses ONLY appear with the message being replied to, not in the Drafts folder. I can't do my daily reviews.
Any suggestions?
This Draft, residing the Inbox (Focused) does not appear in the Drafts folder (pictured beside it).

Kerry,
Thanks for your response. The notification got caught in our filter, so sorry for the late reply.
The Autosave setting was already active at the default 3 minutes so did not resolve it.
Your tip to try OWA was helpful as I get "normal" behavior there. All my drafts are visible in the Draft folder as well as having a red [DRAFT] notification on the thread in the INBOX. I wish the Desktop app would do the same.
As this is a Corp 365 account is there any value in uninstalling / reinstalling the desktop Outlook app? Any other suggestions?
Hi,
where would I find Under Save messages, select or clear the Automatically save items that have not been sent after this many minutes check box. ?
On Android phone, I can see my all (101) of my drafts but on web app on my PC, there are only 74 drafts and no recent ones. I went into settings but dont see any options for Draft where I can toggle off the On / Off .
Please help.
Thank you. Kimberly
Dear Arthur McLeod ,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you!
Based on your description, I did some tests, when I was replying to a message, I needed to temporarily exit Outlook to find some new information, and then after a while (about half an hour) when I returned to my Outlook interface, I could not only see the red "Draft" prompt word on the message I just replied to in the inbox, but I could also find this message to be replied to when clicking on the Drafts folder.
And when I am going to try to close my Outlook, it will also remind me to pay attention to this draft message of mine instead of losing it directly. Just like the prompt box in the following figure.
So it's really strange about the situation you mentioned. By default, Outlook attempts to save an email message you're composing every three minutes. That way, if you have to step away or your computer restarts, you don't lose your work. If you attempt to close an unsent message without sending it, Outlook will ask you if you want to save the message as a draft.
So Please kindly try to turn automatic saving of draft messages on or off or change how often drafts are saved and check the result.
Select File > Options..
Under Save messages, select or clear the Automatically save items that have not been sent after this many minutes check box.
You can also use this option to change how often draft messages are saved. Enter any value between 1 and 99.
If your problem persists, please try logging in to OWA (Outlook web app) with your account and check the results and let me know, thank you.
Thanks in advance for your understanding! Your patience and cooperation will be highly appreciated. Hope you all the best!
Sincerely,
