    Hello John,

Greetings for the day! I’m an Independent Advisor and Microsoft user like you. Thanks for posting the query here at this forum.

Could you please try following steps to make sure Office has all updates?

    1. Close all Office applications.
    2. Sign-out of your Office account.
    3. Do a safe reboot. You can start Safe Mode using the F8 key during start up.
    4. In the meantime, if your Office is not yet updated, kindly install the latest updates. Check the steps in this article: Install Office updates - https://support.microsoft.com/office/2ab296f3-7f03-43a2-8e50-46de917611c5
    5. Start Outlook in safe mode.

      Choose Start > Run.

Type Outlook /safe, and choose OK.

In the Choose Profiles dialog box, accept the default setting of Outlook and choose OK.

If you still have trouble, please verify the steps in below link. https://support.microsoft.com/office/d1f69da6-b333-4650-97bf-4d77bd7abb85

Hope this information would be useful to you. Please feel free to get back if you need any additional info.

If this is Outlook for Windows, try running an Office repair. Start an online repair from the list of installed apps in Windows Settings. See https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b.
