I want to keep any emails in my inbox until I determine its time to delete or archive them. Somehow outlook is doing it without notifying me. How do you stop this from happening??

    Hi AnthonyFreeman,

Most likely the emails are being archived after 90 days. This is a default setting in Outlook. I have attached a link below that explains how to change this and more about the achieved emails.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/auto...

It is possible to retrieve the emails once they have been archived. Here is a link that explains how to view them.

You may also find emails saved in a pst or ost file

Please let me know if you have questions.

    Best Wishes,

    Cindy

I have a similar issue. Every email prior to January 25th has disappeared. I use Outlook to manage my Gmail account. Now they are all gone.
