Why are my emails not loading when i select them anymore?

Ever since my phone updated to ios 16.4, outlook has not been working on my phone. I can login no problems, i can check my inbox, sent, junk etc no problems, but when i click an enail to open and read it, it does not work. I select an email to read, the screen goes black and thats how it stays, or it comes up with 'no network connection' even though my phone has mobile data and is connected to my home wifi. I have already tried apple support and they found nothing wrong with my phone, server, signal, network etc, all working fine, and other sites are working fine. I can access my gmail no problems, i can access my icloud no problems, safari, apps, google etc- they all work with no problems, it is just outlook that is not working. Any ideas why this is? As outlook is my main email and i now cannot access emails that i receive, i dont have a laptop as my screen is smashed.

I have only had this problem with outlook since i updated to ios 16.4

    Is your Outlook mobile app up to date? What version is it currently on?

    Let's try a few troubleshooting steps. First, let's do a quick reset in the app and see if it helps.

    1. Open the Outlook app.
    2. Access the Menu by tapping on your Profile and tap on Settings ⚙️.
    3. Select the affected email account.
    4. Tap Reset Account.

    If the problem persists, we can remove and re-add the account as well.

    4. Tap Delete Account.
    5. Then re-add the account.
