Steps Guide Required on How to Install Updates for Lync Server 2013 (KB2809243)

Dear All,

I'm looking for a steps guide on installing Updates for Lync Server 2013 (KB2809243). As per the below MS article, it is quite complicated to follow the steps and complete the update. However, I've already completed the Step 1 activity on one of the Front-End Servers. From Step 2 to 5 I'd like to get more clarity and looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    @JimmyYang-MSFT Dear Jummy,

    This comment is to confirm that we were able to complete the CU update task by using the given article. For everyone's visibility, I'm sharing the steps that we took to complete the same.

    1. Downloaded and save the installer file in C:\Lync2013_update on each Lync server
    2. Installed the CU for all FE servers
    3. Did the same for the Lync Edge Server
    4. Rebooted each server at a time (just after completing each server update)
    5. From the Lync Management Shell on one of the Frontends ran the following command to update the backend databases
      Get-CsDatabaseMirrorState -PoolFqdn Pool.FQDN -Verbose
    6. Install-CsDatabase -ConfiguredDatabases -SqlServerFqdn lync01.yourdomain.local -Verbose
    7. Install-CsDatabase -CentralManagementDatabase -SqlServerFqdn lync01.yourdomain.local -Verbose
    8. To enable the Mobility service, run the following cmdlet:
      Enable-CsTopology
    9. Enable the Unified Communications Web API
      %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Lync Server 2013\Deployment\Bootstrapper.exe *Note- This environment has not been configured with a database mirroring feature.
