Outlook not adding holidays for current year. How do I fix?

I'm running Outlook 2013. Under Options > Calendar > Calendar Options I use the "Add Holiday" button to import public holidays for my location.

However it adds them for last year 2022, not this year 2023.

How do I fix?

    I am having the same issue. I have removed the holidays and added them back. I have tried everything that is referenced online. Nothing works. Outlook does not show any holidays past December 31, 2022.

    I already tried this method to add holidays. If I try again it says "Holidays for country are already installed. Do you want to install them again?"

    I said yes already and it doubled the number of entries for each holiday for the years 2012 to 2022.

    Basically it seems to be adding holidays for 2012 to 2022 but not 2023 onward.

    Outlook uses a file "OUTLOOK.HOL" which is a text file you can edit. It contains the holidays for every country.

    In the "United States" section, The file I have does not include Thanksgiving beyond the year 2022. So no Thanksgiving this year for me.

    When you "add holidays" you are simply asking Outlook to open this file and add the holidays in it. If you do it twice, the holidays will be created twice, etc. So, you may just want to find a current ".HOL" file or edit the one you have.
