How to add myself as CC or BCC into the emails I send - alternatively, automatically add a copy of all sent emails (by me) to inbox.

I started to use a new Outlook version. I don't find any way to automatically add myself as CC or BCC into the emails I send - alternatively, automatically add a copy of all sent emails (by me) to inbox. I have tried to look solutions from internet and all point to earlier versions of Outlook. Is there a way to do this or should I revert back to an earlier version of Outlook?

Dear Antti,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.

Based on your description, you want to know how to automatically add yourself as CC or BCC into the emails you send - alternatively, automatically add a copy of all sent emails (by you) to your inbox.

Based on your requirement we have checked from our side with New Outlook for Windows, and seems this feature is not available in new Outlook for windows. Please comprehend that as New Outlook for Windows is still under development stage, so many feature will be added based on users feedback, so would you please submit your valuable feedback by open New Outlook for Windows > Help > Support. For more information please refer to: Contact support and provide feedback within the new Outlook for Windows - Microsoft Support.

At the same time, you may try the work around to revert back to classic Outlook, you may switch the toggle off in the new Outlook and it will automatically open the classic version.

And, if you are Microsoft365 business user, you can also create mail flow rule from Admin center (To set up transport rules, admin permission is needed, if you are not the admin, please contact the admin to set the rule for you.)

For more detailed information about mail flow rules, please refer to: Manage mail flow rules in Exchange Online | Microsoft Learn.

I hope the information above can be useful for you. If there is any update or I misunderstand you, please feel free to let me know. I will continue to assist you. Your understanding and co-operation are highly appreciated.

Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day!

Sincerely,

Sherry | Microsoft Community Moderator

Dear Antti,

Thanks for your reply and happy weekend to you!

If you need to set up the mail flow rule in the future, please post back and I will support you further. Also, if this rule feature become available in the New Outlook after updating, I will let you know.

At the same time, would you mind voting for my reply, so that others who like this function can see the relative information, and they can also submit feedback to our New Outlook support group to help with the product development.

Thanks so much!

Sincerely,

Sherry | Microsoft Community Moderator

    Hello,

Not sure when this will get viewed or not at all but when will this feature be available on the New Outlook as reverting back is not an option. Would greatly appreciate it if you could provide some sort of timeline when previously used features like CC'ing or BCCing ourselves and setting the follow up for a date of our choosing is available.

It just seems rather beta to not have the most common features used removed.
