Hello All,

I created the new Gmail account but still I am unable to create the Azure free account. It is showing the below message :

You are not eligible for the azure free account but still can be used for PAY-AS-YOU-GO Pricing.

Kindly assist on the same.

Thanks and Regards,

    .

Steps To Register For Azure FREE Trial Account

    1. Go to the Azure Home Page.
    2. Click on Free Azure Account on the top right corner.
    3. Click on Start Free.
    4. Sign-in/Sign-up for a Microsoft account using an email address and password.
    5. Enter your Country/Region and Date of Birth and click next.
    6. Enter the verification code received on the email address and click next.
    7. Type the captcha you see on your screen and click on next.
    8. You’ll be redirected to the Azure Sign-up page. Enter your Region, Name, Phone number, Email address. Note: You should use the same email address for Azure sign-up and for the Microsoft account.
    9. Verify your phone number by clicking Text Me or Call Me and enter the verification code received.
    10. Enter the payment details. Make sure you have a Master Card/American Express/ Visa Credit card and international payments should be enabled.
    11. Check the Terms and Conditions and click Sign-up.
    12. You have successfully created a Microsoft Azure free account and now have a lumpsum balance of $200.
    13. Click on Portal on the top right corner of the screen. You’ll be redirected to the Azure portal.
    14. If you have exhausted your free credit then you have to move to the Pay as you go subscription policy.

if you have crossed the limit or time limit then you will get “your subscription is disabled and cannot perform operations  until its re-enabled”

    @ARVIND S
    Thank you for your post!

When it comes to your new Gmail account not being eligible for an Azure Free subscription, I was able to find a 3rd party link that discusses your exact issue. Prior to following these steps, please make sure that your Gmail account has never tried or paid for an Azure free account before. For more info.

You are not eligible for an Azure subscription
Below are some work arounds from the article that you can try to fix this issue:

    • First, make sure the following information provided by you is correct
    • Check all the field values or information that you provided for your Azure account profile like contact email address, street address, and telephone number, etc are correct.
    • Make sure you have entered the correct information for your credit card.
    • Make sure any of your existing Microsoft accounts should not be using the same information.

If the issue persists, try the below work around:

    • Clearing all the browser history, clear the cache of your browser.
    • Try the same steps with the help of another browser.
    • Use the incognito window for your browser and try the same process again.
    • Try to use a different credit card that you have not used before to signup for the subscription.

You're not eligible for an Azure free account
I get "You're not eligible for an Azure free account"

If you have any other questions, please let me know.
Thank you for your time and patience throughout this issue.
