I understand you want to view message headers in Outlook for Mac. For your reference please see View Source for emails in Outlook for Mac (office.com)

Please note this feature is available only in the new Outlook for Mac. If you are using old/legacy Outlook for Mac kindly switch to new Outlook for Mac. The new Outlook for Mac - Microsoft Support

    Hi,

When a user has a suspicious email, they often report it via the phishing button, but if it's not a phishing email they have been instructed to attach the suspicious email to a fresh new email and send it to me.

OK, so when I receive the nice clean internal email with the suspicion Email as an Attachment, I extract the attachment and it's an .eml file. I open the .eml file in Outlook, and there is no option to veiw the header!! This email does not show in my client in the list of emails because it isn't an email in my inbox. I can't drag the .eml file into my inbox. How indeed should I see the header of this message?

For the record, I fired up my personal Windows Surface and was easily able to view the header by going to File / Properties of the open .eml file. That simple. For heaven's sake, get the Mac Outlook Client caught up!!
