My email is block due to storage . I’ve cleaned up thousands of emails and have purchased extra storage and am still blocked from incoming and outgoing mail. What do I do?

I received a message from Microsoft TWO DAYS AGO telling me that I have until February 1, 2023 to delete files in storage or I will not be able to send or receive email. The account I received this message on, I've had for years and never had a problem with storage. I even stopped using OneDrive a few years ago to prevent going over. Now all of the business I handle for myself and my family financially, medically, professional, has been disrupted because of this block on my email. I cleared the storage but businesses have already unsubscribed me (like Informed Delivery from USPS) because my emails were bouncing back. Microsoft upended my life in two days thanks to this manufactured storage catastrophe they created. It's not fair to not even give me the opportunity to clear the storage before blocking my email access! And to send a deadline drive email two months after the arbitrary deadline that was set is infuriating and unprofessional!

It seems like a scam where they ask for your information and compromise your card and computer

i have the same problem cleared the storage but Microsoft is not updating the storage size and hence email account still blocked due to storage limitation

They transferred all the emails from my other account into the outlook account and are trying to make me get storage for my payment information after they prompted me to create the outlook new account. My regular email address is ******@hotmail.com. please unblock me. I am a public servant of federal government of Canada. I need my email account for my retirement information.

Please check your OneDrive storage on the link below to see how much space you have.

I recommend you use a laptop and web browser in order to fee up space from your OneDrive storage.

You can delete the message and attachments from your OneDrive that took a lot of your mail storage, and you don't need them.

Your OneDrive storage is different form your email storage.
