Transferring Outlook 2003 to new Office/Outlook 365 - suggestions here are not working

My first time here and I am hoping someone can unravel my 2 problems with moving the .pst file from my wife's old Office Professional Outlook 2003 to her new Office/Outlook 365 and using her real email address.

Problem #1: I have a challenge with adding her @comcast.net to the new install. The program allowed me to create an alternative email address (@comcast.net) but her login is ******@sma880onmicrosoft.com only.

Problem #2: The .pst import problem doesn't give me any way to import the old .pst file from her Outlook 2003 Pro account to allow her to keep her old emails and address book, calendar, etc. The message I get is there is no import/export function when 365 is installed to Firefox. (NOTE: I completely uninstalled Office 2003.)

Now, I am the admin on the account and I added her to my license. When I installed Office 365 on my computer three years ago, the transfer was seamless from Office 2010 Pro to the new 365 Standard (I did uninstall Office 2010 Pro). I can log in via ******@sma880onmicrosoft.com or by using my email address, ******@comcast.net, but I cannot do that with her login.

Both computers are using Windows 7 Pro x64 and both are using the latest edition of Firefox.

Thoughts and suggestions?

Thank you!

    Hello Steven

Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.

First, any email addresses included in a post are removed for security reasons so no one can see what email address was entered on your post making it very hard to follow.

To start off, if you are referring to a Microsoft (office) '365 subscription, it is no longer supported on WIndows 7 so you will not be able to install a current version of '365.

Ignoring the above, if a new version of Office was installed on your wife's computer, there would be nothing to do. It would use to the '2003 Outlook profile to make a copy for the Outlook version being installed so there is something missing from this description or at the very least, something I'm not following. there would be no need to import anything.

As a FYI, uninstalling '2993 would not have removed the Outlook profile and a browser would never be needed in reference to this statement "The message I get is there is no import/export function when 365 is installed to Firefox. "

As far as the browser goes, that would only be used to access Office to downoad / install it using this link

Also as a FYI, the fact that you have '365 running on one of the Win7 computers means that it is no longer the latest version of Office ''365 but it will continue to run what is installed
