I use GoDaddy/Outlook for email but I don't know where to change settings for quarantine. I have emails that I can't open due to being quarantined.

I looked at Exchange admin settings and don't see where to change anything that would avoid my email being quarantined.

Hello edda eddafretz.com, Good day!Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you. As per the description you have shared, we understand that you have a concern with how to release quarantined emails in Outlook.

Typically, if you are Microsoft user, and you want to release any quarantine email, you need to use the Microsoft 365 Defender portal to manage quarantined email messages, you can't do it using outlook. Reference:1- Manage quarantined messages and files as an admin | Microsoft Learn

2- Find and release quarantined messages as a user | Microsoft Learn

Also, as Microsoft user if you want to avoid some specific user emails to be quarantine you can do two things:

1- Add the user account in safe list in outlook

Reference: Customize junk e-mail protection in Outlook for Mac - Microsoft Support

2- Or you can add a user in safe list in the admin center or add the domain in safe list or create specific rule in connect. admin center< Security<Policies&rules< Anti-spam policies.

However, if you are GoDaddy user you need to do it from GoDaddy admin portal, so you need to contact GoDaddy support. If you are GoDaddy user i don't think you will be able to see Microsoft 365 Defender portal (Admin center https://portal.office.com  < security) Please feel free to let us know if there are any questions or if we've got you wrong. We will keep assisting you based on the information you provide. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation. Sincerely,Eben Ezer Tres | Microsoft Community Moderator
