Removing Paragraph markers from outlook

My outlook shows the paragraph makers in all new and reply emails.

I have followed all instructions here and have not been able to resolve.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/turn-formatting-marks-on-or-off-b166e811-d762-4f24-8328-d897cdace459#:~:text=Quickly%20toggle%20all%20formatting%20marks,Keyboard%20shortcut%20CTRL%2BSHIFT%2B*.

Other forums I have seen tells me to deselect it here, however the display option does not appear on my outlook. FileOptionsMail > Editor Options > Display.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled office 365 with no change.

Any help would be appreciated.

The Help article shows the Classic Ribbon.

For the Simplified Ribbon, click on the ellipses, then Show All.
