Dear Lorena Vargas2,
Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.
Based on your description, I understand that you have a query "I want to create a Calender that multiple people can add info on."
Basically, in Microsoft/office 365, there are two ways you can create a Calander that multiple people can add info on; By shared calendars and group calendars, both calendars allow multiple users to view and edit events, however there are some differences between them. Please refer to Calendar sharing in Microsoft 365 - Microsoft Support and Use a Group Calendar - Microsoft Support.
The Shared Calendar:
- Is a calendar that is created and managed by an individual user but shared with other users within the organization.
- Users can share their calendar with specific people or groups and set different levels of permissions for each user or group.
- Users can view and edit events on the shared calendar and can also create new events and invite attendees.
- The shared calendar can be accessed through Outlook or the Outlook Web App.
The Group Calendar:
- A group calendar is a calendar that is created and managed by a group of users within the organization.
- The group calendar is associated with a Microsoft 365 group, which includes a shared mailbox, shared OneNote notebook, and shared files.
- Users can view and edit events on the group calendar and can also create new events and invite attendees.
- The group calendar can be accessed through Outlook or the Outlook Web App, as well as through the Microsoft Teams app.
Moreover, Group calendars are appropriate for bigger teams or departments, whereas shared calendars are utilized for smaller groups. Microsoft Teams and SharePoint connect better with group calendars. Shared calendars enable users to provide certain individuals or groups with different permission and sharing options. Group calendars are well-organized and standardized, making events easy to find. In your case, I may recommend group calendar.
I hope the above information will be helpful. Please feel free to let me know if you have any other concern or if I get you wrong. I will keep assisting you based on the information you provide. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation. Thanks for your precious time!
Sincerely,
