How do I find SMTP and Port Number for my company's SMTP

Hello everyone,

I'm not very tech savy and I'm having this problem. My company uses outlook and we have our smtp as @amassociates.cpa (I believe). Now I found outlook's smtp and port number online but I think that @amassociates.cpa has its own smtp and port number? Is that correct? And if it is correct, how do I find that?

Thank you so much!

I don't know anything about Bitrix. Assuming your company allows authenticated SMTP connection, the following should work:

    Server: smtp.office365.com

    Port: 587

try it with/without Use SSL (on or off)

Login/password: your email address & password

If it does not connect, I suspect Bitrix does not support TLS 1.2 encryption.

    Hi,

yes it's a snapshot from bitrix. I'm trying to redirect from instead of sending from Bitrix, it would be from out company's outlook address.

And yes, I read the article and try using, the port number on there and the smtp but no luck.

What's that snapshot taken from? Bitrix24?

Did you read the article I gave you yesterday?

    Hi!

Thank you for your reply. Since we're a small business, we don't really have a person that I know of who is an IT person.

I looked on google and was suggested to use this site to find the MX. and it turns out to be amassociates-cpa.mail.protection.outlook.com. But I still couldn't find the port number. (Some context, we're trying to send newsletter using Bitrix24 but I kept going to junk because the sender is Bitrix and not us at @amassociates.cpa. So I tried to use our email to send the newsletter but it requires the things bellow as shown in the screenshot).

You mentioned that all I need is my email address and password to configure Outlook. Would that be my company's outlook email and password? Because I'm confused what login they are asking me for in this screenshot.

You should be asking your company IT department that question. If autodiscover DNS record is configured correctly, all you need is your email address and password to configure Outlook desktop/mobile app to connect to your mailbox. Nothing else is needed.

If your company allows IMAP, POP3 connections and you prefer using IMAP or POP3 with SMTP (outgoing) to access your mailbox, this article should answer your SMTP question: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/pop-imap-and-smtp-settings-8361e398-8af4-4e97-b147-6c6c4ac95353
