Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to assist you.
As per the description you have shared, we understand that you want to export an outlook folder to your desktop.

- Launch you Outlook for Windows app.
- Go to File menu, select Open & Export
- Select Import/Export
- Select Export to a File, and then select Next.
- Select Outlook Data File (.pst), and then select Next.
- Select a specific folder you want to export the .pst file and if your specific folder contains subfolders, check include subfolders checkbox and then select Next.
- Select Browse, and then select the location where you want the new .pst file to be saved on you Windows device.
- In the File Name box, type the name that you want to use for the new .pst file, and then click OK.

After exporting, you can send or forward as an attachment to someone. Then the recipients can Import the folder or use Open Outlook Data File to see those emails using Outlook desktop client.
Note: by default, Outlook is set to download email for the past 1 year to your device.
