Hotmail contact list

Re: my Hotmail account. For many years I have had a contact list for the members of a society I am connected with but it has recently vanished.

I have tried to set up a new one, and although I have followed the instructions found by googling the problem it has not been possible as there is no arrow next to "New Contact" and I cannot find any other way of setting up a list..

    Thank you for message but my People page is very different - I will send screenshot. Your instructions are the same as those I got from Google but I cannot use them.

    Hi Benpella

    Many thanks for your reply, but I am using Hotmail not Outlook, and I don't have a problems with contacts in general - I have plenty of those.

    My problems is with creating a specific list for one group of people so that I can click on that list, my message will be sent to all, and I don't have to go through my contacts one by one to send to them all. I have been able to do this in the past and it was very quick and easy to add new contacts and delete old ones and to keep the list current.

    you can add a new contact by signing in to People page. Click on the drop down arrow beside New, then select New contact. I have attached a screenshot below for your reference.

    You will then be redirected to the Add new contact page where you can create a new contact with all the needed information.

    You can edit your contact's information by clicking the name of the contact you want to edit then select Edit from the menu above. I have attached another screenshot.

    Hi ! This is Benpella . I'm a fellow Outlook.com user and I'm sorry to hear about the issue.

    I reconginzed that you need to locate your contacts. To access your contacts, please click the drop down button beside Outlook and click People.

    To add a new contact just click the New button on the top of the People page. Enter the details of the contact and click Save.

    You may be able to view your contacts in the mobile view. To access that....

    1. Login to your account
    2. Follow this link http://profile.live.com/contacts?bfv=um.
    3. Click the word "PC site" at the bottom part of the page

    If you want to switch back to mobile simply log onto m.mail.live.com

    If the above doesnt work

    Try a different browser, Optimize your browser, and try disabling the flash plug in. It has worked for some users

    Try refreshing the screen using F5 (or its equivalent)
