Dear Libeamlak,
'kindly give your vote for this reply, since it will be pinned at the top of the thread' - I would, but I do not see where to vote and secondly I see this is an issue highlighted since 2017. That's 6 years ago..
Thank you!

Hello,
I use Outlook at work on a Mac (business account) and apparently I cannot recall an email I've sent an hour ago, the app does not allow 'mistakes'. There is the option to setup up to 20 seconds for 'Undo Send', but I've realised the wring recipient after minutes, not seconds.
Since I moved to Mac, it feels impossible with some features.
Business impact of an email could be high and the recall option would have been great. It used to work smoothly in the past, of course, not on Mac.
Can anyone help?
Is there really no option?
Thank you in advance!
Elena

Hi Libeamlak,
Thank you so much for your reply & for the confirmation.
However, the situation is really disappointing - I (guess) I understand limitations of the Product development phases & maybe some security limitations, in big lines, or maybe is the operating system... but also it feels like a basic feature to have on an email app. Especially with the business accounts, where we speak about business impact, disclosed information etc. The more I work on a Mac, the more it feels like a pain.
It is what it is. Thanks anyway.
Hava a nice day ahead.
Best regards,
Elena
Unfortunately, "Recall email" is windows only feature for Outlook. Outlook for Mac don't have this feature; Microsoft has officially stated that. However, there is a handy workaround that can serve the purpose (though it has some limitations). You can enable "Undo Send" feature and increase the grace period to the maximum and it will allow you to return a sent email by pressing the "Undo Send" button. This article "How to Recall Email in Outlook Mac – Here’s a Workaround That Works!" explains that elaborately.
