Hi

I had to install Microsoft Server again to one of our servers. Now when I try to sync OneDrive business or personal, I get an error message.

What should I do?

You can disable Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration in Server Manager -> Local Server -> IE Enhanced Security Configuration

    Hi @Makarios

Please refer to LucasA's reply, turn off IE Enhanced Security Configuration.

Or you can try to open IE > Tools (Gear icon in the upper right corner)> Internet Options > Security > Trusted Sites > Sites, add the URL to the zone.

    Hello Makarios

This is because your version of Windows Server contains internet explorer and it has IEES enabled by default.

The following steps are based on Windows 2012 R2. They may need to be modified slightly for different Windows versions.

    1. Ensure no users on the Terminal Server
    2. Logon to the Terminal Server as an administrator
    3. Right-click on 'Start' and choose 'Run'
    4. Type the following: ServerManager
    5. In the top left of the left-hand Window, click "Local Server"
    6. In the right-hand Window, next to "IE Enhanced Security Configuration" click on the 'On' item
    7. (Optional) Inside the section "Administrators", modify the option to 'Off'
    8. Important: Inside the section "Users" modify the option to 'Off'
    9. Click "OK"
    10. Reboot server.
