I must have gotten a virus which required my HP laptop to reset. Now I have lost my Outlook app. When I logged into Outlook on my browser, I was able to find Outlook (PWA) and pinned it to my task bar. But now I can't figure out how to add another email account to this outlook. Also, I want to get back to using the Outlook app (not PWA).

If it says its a PWA, it is a browser app - remove it from the browser menu > apps. If you mean the new Outlook, which is Outlook on the web in an app framework, this article has the instructions to revert to Windows mail or Outlook for Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/office/toggling-out-of-the-new-outlook-for-windows-preview-ec102b39-5727-418e-ae1f-a1805434640c

The PWA only supports one account.

Which Outlook were you using before - the one installed with Office software or Windows Mail?

Top is Windows Mail, bottom is Outlook that is part of office software suite.

Outlook (PWA) automatically was installed when my Microsoft 365 account renewed. How can I get rid of Outlook on the web and go back to my old version of Outlook?

    Try a Quick Repair.

To repair your Office installation, right click on the start menu and choose Apps & Features, find and select the Office installation. Choose Modify then select the Quick repair option. Use the Quick Repair option first as it will fix many things and complete fairly quickly.

If it doesn't help, use the Online Repair option to uninstall Office and reinstall Office. It will not delete your existing Office settings or your Outlook profile and data files.

Hello Laura G! I'm Jeremy and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

You can add another account after you log in to the web app by clicking your profile picture in the top right corner of the screen and selecting the ... then select add new account.

Once you redownload the app from the Microsoft Store you can log in and start using the app instead again.

Did you already redownload the Outlook App from the Microsoft Store?

    Regards,
