Is this a valid Microsoft e-mail?

I recently got an email from ******@msft365edu.com, and I am unsure about the authenticity of this e-mail. This person informed me about signing a document from "Contact Pro @ ******@adobesign.com. I just got this e-mail, but I am still unsure about the authenticity of this, as the e-mail does not follow the normal phrasing of Microsoft e-mail (e.g. @microsoft.com).

Is this a fraud/scam or something that is authentic?

It would be nice for all the Microsoft emails to have the same similar domain , structure and signature, as this would have made it easier to identify if it is authentic or not. Thank you for taking your time to look into this case for me.

    Hello again,

Microsoft has numerous domains and not all ends with @microsoft, this is a legit program, and it does not look like a fake/spam mail, it does not have any of the signs.

And most importantly, you asked to join, so you should be expectant of this mail.

    Best Regards Fuad

Sure, the email is as follows:

“Good morning. We are in receipt of your request to join the AI for Educators’ community.  We are excited to have you as part of this vibrant community focused on opportunities for our customers to connect with our product development teams regarding the inclusion of artificial intelligence in our Microsoft products.  It is an exciting time for us all, and we want to do this the correct way.  That means that we want you to partner with us to responsibly develop products that are also relevant to you as educators.  That is the purpose of the AI for Educators’ community.

To join this community, you must have an existing NDA with Microsoft.  If you have an NDA as indicated to us in your signup request, you have been added to the community already.  If you do not, your information has been shared with Microsoft Contracting, and they will contact you directly.  You should receive something, if you have not already done so, from them as the next step in this process.  Please check your inbox for an email from “Contract Pro ******@adobesign.com” to locate the signature link. Be sure also that this email address is safe-listed in your settings.

If you have completed this process already, please disregard this email.  Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

    Thank you.

    mlp”

I did in fact register for the AI in education, but the email address and the way this email is written without a proper signature, makes me critical of whether it is trustworthy or not.

    Hello,

Thank you for coming to the forum. My name is Fuad.

I do not know if you know this, but here in this Microsoft answers community, you are dealing with users like you (and me), there is a limit to what we can do.

Since this is a user forum, we cannot see any email typed here, so if you want us to check this for you, to know if it is true or not you will need to let us know what the contents of the mail is, then we can know if it is from Microsoft or not.

    I kindly await your reply

    Best Regards Fuad
