No option to change browser in Outlook > Link Handling

Recently Outlook 365 started opening links using Microsoft Edge. I am trying to change this to my default browser. Everywhere I have looked says there is a drop-down option under File > Options > Advanced > Link Handling to do this. When I check this option, I do not see this drop-down and I do not see any option to change the browser Outlook uses to open links. Can someone tell me how else I can change this? Please see the attached screen shot. Thanks!

I am also missing the option in File > Options > Advanced. I do not have a category called "Link Handling."

I would like to inform you that you did not reply to the question, as it was not directed towards a "change" regarding additional functionality, but rather a "change" via toggling how "Link Handling" is managed by the software. The user cannot access this functionality (similar to me), despite there being no reason for it not being accessible.

I have read through solutions posted here (which required another user, rather than a moderator to provide a response to the question being asked) and read through the guide "Open file links directly in Office desktop app", and neither has resolved the issue.

To reiterate the problem: when I go into Outlook -> Options -> Advanced, there is no section for "Link Handling". Under the "Open file links directly in Office desktop app", it states the conditions that there may be an issue, but none of those apply to me:

    • If you're not signed into Microsoft 365.
      • I'm signed in
    • Opening links from other 1st party Microsoft 365 clients like OneNote, Skype, or Microsoft Teams. Or from 3rd party apps such as Slack, EverNote, etc.
      • Not applicable, opening from Outlook
    • You've installed Office from the Microsoft Store on Windows 10.
      • No
    • Links to files not stored on OneDrive or SharePoint in Microsoft 365.
      • All files I'm trying to access are stored within our SharePoint
    • Links you receive for certain notifications such as @mention notifications.
      • Not applicable
    • SharePoint vanity domains such as contoso.com.
      • Not applicable
    • Links to documents stored in the Microsoft sovereign clouds such as Germany, 21 Vianet (China), or the U.S. Government cloud.
      • Not applicable
    • Outlook Premium accounts with real-time URL phishing protection enabled across all platforms.
      • Not applicable
    • This feature isn't supported for Linux users.
      • Not applicable

I hope this provides some clarity on what is being asked, and hopefully there is an existing solution regarding this issue.

    Thank you

Even this vido is out of date. There is no option to change the browser. The only options I have is to open in Desktop Apps, or browser apps. Outlooks still uses my default browser to open links.

I first fixed this when I was logging in without a MS account, I recently rebuilt my machine because some adobe trial software hosed my profile, I started logging in with my MS credentials and now Outlook 2019 doesn't show the 'link-handling' option. ****!!!!!!
