I don't need Conversation History, Notes, or RSS Feeds folders.

I right click on folder and select Delete. Nothing happens.

I right click on folder and select Move to Deleted Items. Noting happens.

Why can't I delete them?

I did as you suggested and I don't have Properties showing on my view. Here is what I see when I did what you said:

Ever since we were forced to go with this new Outlook I have been having problems. I don't mind learning how to do stuff, but I get tired of suggestions and fixes that don't apply to what I see on my screen.

I don't need Conversation History, Notes, or RSS Feeds folders.

Those are default folders and cannot be deleted. Microsoft will be removing Conversation history in the future.

Do you have classic Outlook that is installed with Office? If so, you can use a macro to hide the folders and the changes will sync back to the server. Hide - don't delete - and they will stay gone longer.

I have instructions in this article: https://www.slipstick.com/outlook/delete-outlooks-default-folders/

    Hi

I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself no one here is a Microsoft employee.

Some of these folders are default folders that cannot be deleted, such as Conversation History, Notes, and RSS Feeds. However, you can hide them from the folder list if you don’t want to see them. Here are the steps you can try:

In Outlook, right-click the folder you want to hide and select Properties. In the General tab, check the box that says Hide from Navigation Pane. Click OK to save the changes. Repeat these steps for any other folder you want to hide.

I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.

    Best Regards,

    AnnaThomas

Conversation, is a view, not folder

    Notes/RSS

See OL Options > Add-ins and remove them
