    Message to Systems Administrator:

I paid over £2,000 for my Apple Mac and use the MS Outlook app (not the web version) as it is running my work email account. I routinely email the same messages to 15 people or more. Since adopting the new Outlook, I have had to manually type in each recipient's email address which is 1) Very time-consuming and 2) Very prone to error which obviously is having an impact on my work productivity.

So this is not a trivial issue. I used to have a contact list for over 250 sales reps and managers. Thankfully, I no longer have that requirement or else a single email would take me all week to compile!

Please give this feedback to the developers. Losing 'Contact List' is about the same as losing, say, the ability o create an 'Event'!

It did, however, work perfectly for Outlook 16.80 on mac. In fact, there was a "before you go..." window after selecting revert to legacy that has a selection box for "contact lists", so this is clearly a missing feature from the new Outlook and a reason why many users are going back to the legacy version. An email client that cannot store email lists is pretty useless for anyone who works at a company or university with more than two employees or students.

I think you've misinterpreted my position. I'm a Sysadmin at a school with the same user issues you outline. I don't have a relationship with the developers at MS. This is generally how the office suite on Mac has been managed for decades. It's an afterthought for them.

As an aside I'm running 16.79.3 on a mini running Venture (13.6.1).

Hi, is there a time frame for the release of this function in the new version?

Just to reiterate Sebastian, that feature is not (yet) available in the new version of Outlook on the Mac.

You can regain the feature by "reverting" to the old or "Classic" version of Outlook on your desktop application.

This can be accomplished by navigating to the HELP menu present when Outlook is the active app and dropping into the drop-down to the REVERT selection.
