Hello - Ever since I switched to the "new" Outlook, I am no longer able to create an email folder or subfolder in my Outlook. I've tried right-clicking and I do not receive the option to create a new folder. Why?

Go to Help > Clear Application Data > Check the Experimental Features Box, Click Clear, then Clear and Restart. It will fix this issue.

Hi, I have the same problem - since 1 September 23 I am unable to create new folders on my MacBook Pro 'new' outlook app which I could before.

I have checked and I am using the up to date version.

Outlook lets be add new folder but when I click off the new folder it disappears. The 'create new folder at this level' is greyed out.

I hate the legacy outlook - this does let me create folders but when I switch back t the 'new' outlook they don't appear.

I have not changed anything on my MacBook and this is very frustrating as I need to be able to create new folders

Please can someone provide a solution to this?

yes, I am encountering the very same issues. Not being able to create folders and keep my emails organized is seriously hindering productivity. Whether using a Mac or PC, being able to create folders is a fundamental tool everyone should have.

Looking for an answer from Microsoft here.
