I want to create a meeting pattern that re-occurs every two weeks, but the day of the meeting in each week is different.

Explanation:

week 1: meeting occurs on Tuesday

week 2: meeting occurs on Thursday

then repeat

is this possible? I couldn't figure it out on the schedule assistant in Outlook.

    Dear Gonçalo Martins2,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

Based on your description, I understand that you have a query "Setting up recurring meetings in outlook".

After thorough research and testing, it has been determined that it is currently not possible to create a meeting pattern that re-occurs every two weeks, with the day of the meeting in each week different. The only possible way is to create two different meetings, both that re-occurs every Four (4) weeks with one meeting occur on Tuesday and another meeting occur on Thursday.

    1. Open Outlook and go to the Calendar view.
    2. Click on the "New Meeting" button to create a new meeting.
    3. In the "Meeting" tab, click on the "Recurrence" button.
    4. In the "Appointment Recurrence" window, select "Weekly" from the "Pattern" drop-down menu.
    5. Under "Recurrence pattern," select "Every 4 weeks" from the "Interval" drop-down menu.
    6. Under "Days," select the days of the week you want the meeting to occur on. In your case, select "Tuesday" in first meeting.
    7. Click "OK" to save the recurrence pattern.
    8. Fill in the rest of the meeting details and click "Send" to send the meeting invitation.
    9. Then follow the same process and select "Thursday" for second meeting and then for the range of recurrence, select any day in the week two after the starting and ending time for the first meeting. Please see the screenshots.

    .

This will create a recurring meeting pattern that occurs every two weeks, with the day of the meeting alternating between Tuesday and Thursday.

In the meantime, you may create an entry as a feature suggestion in the Feedback Portal at Outlook · Community (microsoft.com), Other users may vote it and make it more visible to the service team so that it may be considered for future upgrades.
