I don't manage to open a .msg file with outllok (i'm with microsoft 365 basic)

i can't choose outlook as a way to open the file vy "open with"

    I’m Segunfunmi, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft user like you. Thanks for posting the query here in this forum.

    You can open a .msg file with two simple steps:

    Right-click on the MSG file which you want to open.

    Click on “open with” and choose MS Outlook.

    If you can access Outlook, double-click the MSG, and it’ll automatically open using Outlook. If it doesn’t, right-click on it, choose the ‘Open With’ option, and select ‘Outlook’. Alternatively, you can copy/paste the MSG manually. (Right-click it and like ‘Copy’, then go to the Outlook window.

    If you cannot open the .msg file, you may search for non-Microsoft applications that allow you to perform this action using your favorite search engine. Let me know if this helps!
