    Hello Debra,

Thanks for posting the query here in this forum.

I’m sorry to hear that you are getting virus alert emails in Outlook for your phone.

These emails may be a type of spam or phishing attack that tries to trick you into clicking on a malicious link or opening an infected attachment.

You should not interact with these emails in any way and delete them from your inbox as soon as possible, also report them as phishing to help Microsoft improve their spam filters. Here are some steps you can follow to do that:

Open the Outlook app on your phone and go to the spam email that contains the virus alert.

Tap the three-dot icon at the top right corner and select Report a concern, select Spam.

This will move the email to your Junk folder and notify Microsoft about the phishing attempt.

Also report phishing and block sender in outlook on web at https://outlook.live.com/

Open the email, above the reading pane, select Junk > Phishing > Report

Select Settings > Mail > Junk email > Block senders, enter the email address and save

You can also find more information about how to spot and deal with phishing and suspicious emails in Outlook.com at: https://support.microsoft.com/office/0d882ea5-eedc-4bed-aebc-079ffa1105a3

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
